We are teaching the ground crew to swim

Half our staff live in the water. The other half sink.

Integration works both ways, so Fridays are now swimming lessons for the ground crew, taught by the flight crew, who find the whole thing hilarious.

Curriculum

• Week one: floating, and the theory of not panicking.
• Week two: not panicking, applied.
• Week three: synchronised turns. Optional, but the flight crew grades them anyway.

Progress is measured in biscuits, our most stable currency. The accountant can now do a full length underwater, which has made audit season genuinely frightening.

Next term, the exchange continues: the flight crew learns to use stairs.
